Paul and Gloria Morsky began working in construction in Manitoba in 1950. Paul Morsky Ltd. was incorporated in 1955 and over the following years gained experience in dam construction, mine relocation and road building. It is safe to say that there are very few roads in the province that Paul and his family haven’t built or rebuilt over the years. Rail and mine maintenance were added to the services offered in 2002. Paul and Gloria’s youngest son, Wayne, assumed the role of President and Chief Executive Officer of the company in 2004. To better reflect the nature of the company, the name was changed to Morsky Industrial Services Ltd.  Expansion into Alberta followed in the fall of 2006 with the opening of an office in Rainbow Lake, Alberta. Other services the companies provide include land development, sewer and water installation, specialized railway services with the HyTracker™, and deep one-pass trenching.

In 2006, the company secured the Canadian rights to a launched soil nailing technology used to remediate shallow landslides. Morsky HySpeed Soil Nailing Ltd. provided soil stabilization services from coast to coast.  Due to the expanded awareness and increased demand for our soil stabilization services, a General Manager was hired in 2009 to oversee Morsky HySpeed Soil Nailing Ltd. operations.

In 2008 the Rainbow Lake operation was wrapped up and a small general contracting company, based in Stony  Rapids, was acquired. This was the beginning of our commercial construction company.  In 2009 it expanded to southern Saskatchewan and in 2010, the company name was changed to Morsky Development Corp.

In 2013, Morsky HySpeed Soil Nailing expanded its portfolio and changed its name to reflect the new direction.  Morsky Earthworx Solutions Ltd. (MESL) focuses on building Geosynthetically Reinforced Soil (GRS), Integrated Bridge Systems (IBS).  The GRS IBS focus will allow MESL to meet the growing need to replace short span bridges across the prairie provinces.

Morsky prides itself on being a local, family-owned enterprise with a strong commitment to remain Saskatchewan-based. The Morsky Group continues to succeed by maintaining its commitment to its founding values of “Ingenuity and Integrity.” Our company positions itself with organizations, companies and individuals who share these values.
