Wayne Morsky, Chief Executive Officer

As CEO of The Morsky Group, Wayne provides leadership and mentoring in all operations. Wayne oversees three independent operating companies with a staff compliment of over 40 people. Wayne received a Diploma in Business Administration from Red River College in Winnipeg, Manitoba and is Gold Seal Certified (Canadian Construction Association). In 2010 Wayne was the National Chair for the Canadian Construction Association (CCA).  He has been involved in various leadership capacities with the Saskatchewan Heavy Construction Association, the Saskatchewan Construction Association, Western Canadian Roadbuilders, Chair of the Environment Committee of Canadian Construction Association, and the Canadian Association of Family Enterprise, Regina Chapter. Wayne was also recently appointed to the Board of Directors for the Centre of Excellence for Transportation and Infrastructure. Currently, Wayne also sits on the Board of Directors for the Saskatchewan Roughriders and is a Co-Chair of Gold Medal Plates Regina. Wayne was honoured with the Canadian Construction Association Civil Infrastructure Award of Recognition 2013 in Panama in March, 2014.

Lorne Schnell, MBA, P.Eng., President

As President, Lorne Schnell provides leadership for the Morsky Group of Companies and is responsible for detailed financial management and contract administration for the group. He completed a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan and has worked as a Project Engineer in the field. Lorne completed a Master of Business Administration from the Ivy School of Business in London, Ontario and spent a number of years as a Corporate Account Manager with Royal Bank. Lorne continues to be actively involved in a number of associations that has included the Board of Directors of the Saskatchewan Heavy Construction Association and the Canadian Association of Family Enterprise, Regina Chapter. Lorne was also a member of the Faculty of Business Administration, University of Regina, where he taught financial management. Lorne has successfully completed the Robertson Builder Training.

 Marty Willfong, P.Eng. Chief Operating Officer

Marty Willfong manages the overall business of all operating companies within the Morsky Group. Marty has his Bachelors in Environmental Systems Engineering from the University of Regina and is a Professional Engineer registered in Saskatchewan and a member of Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Saskatchewan. He has over a decade of experience working in the municipal and civil construction sectors and is a Canadian Construction Association Gold Seal Intern.

Marty is actively involved in amateur sports in Regina and is currently a coach for minor league baseball and hockey.

Carole Morsky, M.Ed., B.A, Vice President

Carole Morsky is responsible for Human Resources for the Morsky Group, as well as the company’s safety program, administrative policies and procedures, community relations and communication. Prior to joining the family business, Carole was a teacher and school administrator. She earned a B.A. and B. Ed. from the University of Saskatchewan and a Masters in Educational Administration and a Certificate in Business Administration from the University of Regina. Carole achieved her Certificate of Recognition (COR) from the Saskatchewan Heavy Construction Safety Association. Carole sits on the Merit Board of Directors, HR committee of the Saskatchewan Construction Association,and is an active member on the Canadian Association of Family Enterprise, Regina Chapter Board of Directors. She is a Past Chair of the Regina Multisport Club Board of Directors, Past Vice Chair of Holy Trinity Parish Council and a Past President of the Life Saving Society of Saskatchewan. In 2014 Carole sat on the Indigenous Engagement Taskforce with the Canadian Construction Association and the 2014 Symposium Planning committee for CAFE National,

Wayne Pidskalny, Safety Officer

As Safety Officer for the Morsky Group, Wayne oversees the safety program at work sites, provides educational opportunities, maintains ISNetworld, and conducts safety inspections, investigations and audits.  He is also responsible for purchasing, maintaining and disposing of Morsky assets. Wayne studied at the College of Commerce at the University of Saskatchewan. Prior to joining the company Wayne worked at the Regina International Airport for Transport Canada as Airport Security Coordinator and later, Manager of Airport Operations for Transport Canada.  He was presented with an “Industry Service Award” by the Saskatchewan Aviation Council for his contribution towards the aviation industry in the province of Saskatchewan. Wayne was a member of the 2014 NAOSH Planning Committee.
